Liverpool are looking at Brighton and Hove Albion player Yves Bissouma as a potential replacement for Gini Wijnaldum in the summer transfer window of this year.
The midfielder has impressed for the Seagulls this season as they bid to stay in the top-flight under Graham Potter and is currently valued at £11.7m by transfermarkt.
Indeed, he could apparently be a target for the Reds in the summer window if Gini Wijnaldum ends up not signing a contract and leaving on a free ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on his Here We Go podcast that that could be the case:

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
It’s certainly an unclear situation involving Wijnaldum at the moment and so it makes perfect sense that the Reds might be looking at contingency plans at the moment.
The Dutchman is obviously a quality footballer and losing him would be a blow so the Reds will want to get any replacement spot on.
It sounds as though they like the look of Bissouma and what he could bring to the team with room to grow, as Wijnaldum has, but it remains to be seen what will happen here.
