Jurgen Klopp has been boosted by the return of Roberto Firmino to training today ahead of tomorrow’s huge Champions League clash with Barcelona, according to the Evening Standard.

Concerns had been raised for the availability of the Brazilian after he was omitted from the team to face Huddersfield on Friday.

Fortunately, the Reds’ No.9 was fit to take part in training today and should be available for selection at the Nou Camp tomorrow night.

The news will have come as major encouragement to Klopp on the eve of a crunch match with the La Liga giants.

Daniel Sturridge filled in admirably up front on Friday, even finding the net at one stage before his goal was flagged offside.

But the front three of Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are a force to be reckoned with, and Liverpool supporters will be delighted to have the trio available together again.

Salah was also rumoured to have received a knock, but he too took part in training today, leaving the Reds boss with a full compliment of attacking players to choose from.
