Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has identified a weakness in Liverpool’s game, according to Defensa Central.

Liverpool face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals, with the first leg taking place at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano tonight.

The report states that Zidane has told Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior to target Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Junior is a decent player. The Real Madrid forward has scored four goals and registered six assists in 36 appearances this season.

However, Alexander-Arnold has won the Champions League playing as a right-back. In fact, Alexander-Arnold kept a clean sheet in the 2019 final against Tottenham Hotspur.

There is no denying that Alexander-Arnold is more of an attacking full-back. Alexander-Arnold has scored nine goals and registered 41 assists in 169 appearances for Liverpool.

However, as we have highlighted, Alexander-Arnold can defend. If the Scouser could not defend at all, it would be fair to assume that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp would not play him in defence.

Therefore, we are backing Alexander-Arnold to take care of Junior.
