According to Bleacher Report, Liverpool could make a summer move for youngster Musa Al-Tamari.

The 22-year-old currently plays for APOEL FC and has been compared to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in the past.

The Jordanian international has been linked with many of Europe’s big clubs, and that obviously includes Liverpool.

The winger has scored three goals and assisted nine in all competitions this season.

The fact that Al-Tamari has been linked with some big clubs does suggest that he has talent. However, it appears that Liverpool need a player that could replace the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

The Reds really do lack depth in attack. Sure, the likes of Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri are good players, but they are nowhere near the level of the likes of Firmino, Salah or Mane.

There is no suggestion that Liverpool’s interest is genuine in Al-Tamari, meaning that it is unlikely that the club will pursue the youngster.

If the various reports are anything to go by, it appears more likely that Liverpool will sign at least one of Timo Werner or Jadon Sancho.
