Liverpool’s win against Manchester City early in the 2019-20 season was certainly a big moment.

We agree that Fabinho’s goal was a big moment in the 2019-20 season. It ultimately put Liverpool on the right path to secure three points against the Citizens on the night.

Manchester City had won back-to-back Premier League titles leading into the 2019-20 season, so they were the team Liverpool had to overtake.

The win put Liverpool nine points clear, and we were only two months into the season. Manchester City were on the back foot from the moment Liverpool beat them in early November.

In regards to the 2020-21 Premier League season, Liverpool’s first encounter against Manchester City will on the 7th of November at the Etihad Stadium.

The Reds then welcome the Citizens to Anfield on the 6th of February.
