Some Liverpool supporters are not impressed with Jurgen Klopp’s recent comments.
Klopp recently suggested that it is unlikely that Liverpool will be active in the upcoming transfer window.
Klopp said that it has been a “difficult year” and it’s not a time to focus on transfers.
He suggested that it is “not possible” for Liverpool to make any major signings in the upcoming transfer window.
Klopp’s comments have been quoted by journalist James Pearce.
Klopp on this summer: "This is a difficult year for all football clubs in the world and I don’t think it’s a time where we talk about transfers like the rest around us did not happen. It’s just not possible, at least not for us." (1/2) #LFC

Still can't understand where all the money we never spent in the previous 3 windows has disappeared to? And yes that was all before the virus impacted things. American owners are all the same…. #ProfitForTheirPockets

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Liverpool only spent £8.55 million last summer. That basically highlights that Liverpool did not make a major signing before the 2019-20 season commenced.
Having back-to-back summers of not signing a player of serious quality will leave me frustrated. We are the champions of England and I want us to build on that.
If Klopp does not make a major signing in the upcoming transfer window, you could make an argument that the club is standing still.
If the club are struggling financially, then there is not much that can be done in terms of signings.
