Liverpool signed Ben Davies from Preston North End for a fee of €1.85 million on deadline day of the January transfer window.

However, the centre-back is yet to make his senior debut for the Reds. Liverpool face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday.

Davies posted two images to Instagram of himself training ahead of the clash with the caption “working”.

Jordan Henderson, who has been playing as a centre-back this season, suffered an injury against Everton last weekend.

With that being the case, Henderson will not be available for the clash against the Blades. Therefore, there is a chance that Davies could make his Liverpool debut this weekend.
