A new mural of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has appeared in Liverpool.

The mural, which can be seen below, provides an insight into the present and the past.

Henderson, who is the first Liverpool captain to lift the league trophy since 1990, represents the present on the left.

On the right, former Liverpool captain, Alan Hansen, can be seen lifting the league trophy back in 1990.

We love how Henderson can be been in colour and Hansen can be seen in black and white. It ultimately highlights how long we have had to wait to see the Reds claim another league title.

The mural is brilliant for the aforementioned reasons. Artist Paul Curtis is the man behind the design.
