Former Red Don Hutchison took to Twitter to share his thoughts on one particular moment from Liverpool’s recent Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

In the second half at Anfield, Liverpool forward Sadio Mane crossed the ball into the box with his left foot. Mane naturally passes the ball with his right foot.

Mane’s cross with his opposite foot split Sheffield United’s defence and found Liverpool forward Diogo Jota. The Portuguese international found the back of the net to secure a 2-1 victory for the Reds.

As you can see below, Hutchison was impressed with Mane’s cross.

It was some cross from Mane, and that is simply because it was on his opposite foot.

Despite not scoring himself, Mane had a very good overall game against Sheffield United.

The Senegal international finished the match with a WhoScored player rating of 7.46.

Mane has had a decent start to the 2020-21 season. After seven appearances this season, Mane has scored four goals and registered two assists.
