Liverpool attacker Mo Salah has revealed that he would like to play every minute of every game of the remaining season if he could, but accepts it’s Jurgen Klopp’s call.
The Egyptian attacker is expected to feature against Manchester United this afternoon in the Premier League, with the Reds needing a win to take back top spot.
Certainly, it’s a big game no matter what the circumstances but it has added incentive at Anfield today and Salah will be eager to play his part in a victory.
For sure, it sounds as though he is wanting to feature as much as possible between now and the end of the campaign, with him saying to beIN Sports, via Goal:
“I want to play every minute and every game.
“I want to play 95 minutes, not just 90! But I do respect the manager’s decisions.”
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Salah is a robust forward as well as a quality one and that combination on the pitch makes him very hard to stop for defenders.
He’ll regularly hustle and bustle his way past markers as well as simply outfoxing them with his quick feet and we’ll hopefully see him at his best against Manchester United this afternoon.
He scored a fine goal in this fixture last year at Anfield, more of the same would go down nicely today.
