Red Devils star Marcus Rashford has sustained a back injury ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Liverpool this weekend.

The Reds welcome Manchester United to Anfield on Sunday looking to take another step closer to Premier League greatness.

Liverpool possess a 14-point lead at the top of the table with a game in hand. Manchester United on the other hand sit in fifth and are five points outside the top four.

To add to Manchester United’s misery, Rashford sustained a back injury during his side’s FA Cup third round replay against Wolverhampton Wanderers last night.

He had only been on the pitch for 16 minutes. The club are hopeful he will be available for the trip to Anfield.

Liverpool are the far superior side, even with Rashford in Manchester United’s starting XI. However, there is no denying that if Rashford were unavailable for the match, it would aid Liverpool.

The forward has been in some decent touch of late, but you would still back Liverpool’s defence to hold up against the Englishman if he does play.
