French football manager Christophe Galtier has revealed he has dreams of managing Liverpool one day in a recent interview.

Jurgen Klopp has been in the Anfield job for five years now and in that time has helped revolutionise the club to turn the Reds from also-rans into perennial title contenders.

Indeed, it’s been a transformation that few will ever forget if and when the German does leave the club – which many will hope is not going to be happening any time soon.

When the time comes, though, it appears Galtier would be interested in the job, though obviously, it would have to be the right time and person for the Reds.

Speaking to Canal Football Club in France, and as quoted by Sports Mole, he said:

“If I had to choose my destination, I would go to Liverpool.

“It’s my dream.”

The last French manager Liverpool had was Gerard Houllier and he certainly enjoyed success at the club, winning the famous treble of cups in 2001 as the highlight.
Galtier evidently has ambitions of guiding the Reds at some point in his career but, at the moment, the job is probably one of the most impossible to lay claim to with the way Jurgen Klopp has taken the club to new heights.
