Liverpool would like to offer Napoli €60 million and a footballer to secure the services of centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Napoli Magazine.

The report states that Liverpool would like to spend no more than €60 million on the 28-year-old.

However, Napoli apparently do not want to drop their asking price below €100 million. With that being the case, the report adds that Liverpool could offer Napoli €60 million and forward Divock Origi for Koulibaly.

It has been reported that Liverpool may not sign RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner this summer.

With that being the case, it would be a silly move to sell Origi. The Belgian is a handy player to have coming off the bench.

In his Liverpool career, he has scored 33 goals from 134 appearances. The aforementioned numbers highlight that he is capable in front of goal. Origi is the only senior back-up striker the club have.

With that being the case, it would be silly to move him on. Hopefully this report turns out to be false, as I believe that Origi will be a required player at Anfield next season.
