Liverpool will demand at least £25million of any club wishing to buy Dejan Lovren this summer, according to reports today.

News of AC Milan’s interest in signing the Croatian centre-back this transfer window broke earlier today.

Paul Joyce of The Times confirmed on Twitter that Liverpool have a specific asking price in mind for the 29-year-old.

“Would take bids of at least £25m for Liverpool to even consider letting Dejan Lovren leave,” wrote Joyce. “No contact from AC Milan, but their prospective new sporting director Ricky Massara rates Lovren highly.”

Lovren has fallen down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp this season, with Joel Matip and Joe Gomez preferred as centre-back partners to Virgil van Dijk.

It remains to be seen whether or not AC Milan will firm up their interest in the player.
