Liverpool will not sell winger Sadio Mane for anything less than Є120 million, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Barcelona will reportedly only consider signing Mane if Messi leaves.
The report adds that Mane would be open to leaving Liverpool, as he believes that he is not “valued as a number 1”.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Mane signed for Liverpool from Southampton for a transfer fee of €41.20 million back in 2016.
Since then, he has scored 81 goals and registered 34 assists in 171 appearances for the club.
The aforementioned figures highlight how good Mane has been for the Reds.
It is slightly concerning to hear that Mane is excited about Barcelona showing interest in him. It suggests that he would be open to a move away from Anfield. But, as of right now, it is nothing more than speculation.
Besides, Mane’s current contract expires in the summer of 2023. With that being the case, Liverpool do not need to sell the Senegal international.
We would be surprised to see Mane depart this summer. Liverpool are in complete control of his future for the time being.
