Watford’s Ismaila Sarr is on Liverpool’s shortlist, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The report states that the club’s recruitment team are keeping tabs on the forward but it is unclear at this stage whether that will mean a formal bid will be forthcoming this summer.

The Watford Observer has also stated that Liverpool are interested in Sarr.

Sarr had a decent season for Watford. The forward scored five goals and registered six assists in 28 Premier League appearances.

Watford were relegated to the Championship this season. With that being the case, Sarr could potentially force a move elsewhere.

That is only an assumption, but he is a promising young player who performed quite well in the Premier League this season. We doubt that he would want to drop down to the Championship.

If Liverpool do want Sarr, they do have the lure of Premier League football.

Sarr has a current market value of €24.50 million. He also has four years left on his current contract.

With that being the case, Liverpool would need to spend a little bit of money to secure Sarr’s services.
