ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Traore would be a good signing for Liverpool, and I’ll explain why.

Traore is a very similar player to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. He operates the wing and is blessed with pace. With that being the case, he would be a handy back up option in Liverpool’s squad.

The Reds don’t possess a like-for-like replacement for Salah or Mane. Signing Traore would ultimately change that.

Statistically, Traore has had a reasonable Premier League season. He has scored four goals and registered seven assists for Wolves.

Traore would be a solid signing for the aforementioned reasons. Whether Liverpool are genuinely interested in the winger, only time will tell.
