Liverpool need to act quickly if they are to secure Sandro Tonali’s signature ahead of Juventus this summer.
The Italian giants are heavily interested in signing the young midfielder but Brescia owner Massimo Cellino wants to keep Tonali at the club for another year.
Juve are willing to loan the 18-year-old back to Brescia in order to secure his signature for the future such is his potential.
Italian news outlet Il Bianconero claims that Juventus are ready to make a major push to sign Tonali this summer and Liverpool will need to act quickly if they are to remain in the mix.
Remaining in Italy where the speed of the game will help him develop the best might be the best approach for the player given that he would likely not start many games for the Reds just yet and he would be a waste playing for the Liverpool U23s.
With Paul Joyce writing that Liverpool are unlikely to spend big this summer as things stand, spending over £40million on an 18-year-old doesn’t seem like the logical next step in the transfer market for the Reds.
