Liverpool were quiet in the summer window, but they were certainly linked with plenty of players in the market nevertheless.
Indeed, with Gini Wijnaldum sealing an exit from the club it was clear that the Reds would be linked with midfielders and so that would prove, with Youri Tielemans among those being touted as of interest to Liverpool.
A top player, he’d be class for the Reds but he remains at Leicester – though whether he signs a new contract there remains to be seen.
Indeed, he’s rather suggested he’s keeping things open for now:
Youri Tielemans to Sky on his future: “I'm open to everything. The transfer market has just closed, but I want to keep as many options as I can open. We will see what happens”. 🔵 #LCFC
New contract proposal on the table for months… but also many clubs interested for June 2022.

Tielemans would be class for Liverpool but whether or not we can see him arrive at the club remains to be seen.
