The Cherries reportedly value Brooks at £35 million. The report adds that Everton, Tottenham and West Ham are also interested in the 23-year-old.

We can’t see Liverpool paying £35 million for Brooks. The midfielder has a current market value of €20 million, which does highlight that he is currently not worth £35 million.

Brooks only played nine games in the Premier League last season because of an ankle injury. He scored one goal, but he failed to register an assist. That one goal did come against Manchester City.

Brooks did have a solid 2018-19 Premier League season. He scored seven goals and registered five assists in 30 appearances.

Footage of the youngster highlights that he is a player with pace and composure. He looks to take the game on.

The aforementioned footage highlights why Liverpool could be interested in him, but the only way we seen see this deal happening is if Bournemouth drop their asking price.

It has been reported that Liverpool will be quiet in the transfer window. With that being the case, we can’t see Liverpool spending big on any player.
