This is not a deal that we can see happening. Matip is an important player in Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Matip only made 13 appearances this season because of a knee injury. Matip started for Liverpool in the 2019 Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Matip helped the Reds keep a clean sheet. Liverpool won the game 2-0. Matip would not start in a Champions League final if he was not rated by Klopp.

The reality is, Matip has four years left on his current contract.

Liverpool would be able to demand quite a hefty fee because of Matip’s current contract. Matip currently has a market value of €32 million.

With that being the case, PSG might be reluctant to move in for Matip. There are too many things going against the Ligue 1 club in regards to the aforementioned deal.
