Liverpool are not interested in signing Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge despite heavy speculation linking him with the club, according to the Echo.
The 29-year-old was widely tipped with a move to Anfield this summer after Cardiff were relegated from the Premier League.
Newly-promoted Aston Villa are eager to land Etheridge, with an £8million bid already rejected by the south Wales club.
Fulham and West Ham are also circling with a view to signing the Philippines international, but the Echo report that Liverpool are not in the running for his signature this summer.
The Reds are in the market for a new deputy for Alisson Becker, with Simon Mignolet set to leave the club and Lloris Karius still on loan with Besiktas for another season.
