Back in December, Liverpool were linked with Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun.

Balogun was left out of Arsenal’s squad for the FA Cup clash against Newcastle United last week.

Many Arsenal supporters took to Twitter to share their frustration about the fact that Balogun did not feature against the Magpies.

One Arsenal supporter wants to see Balogun depart the Emirates for Anfield.

Balogun has only made the five senior appearances for the Gunners. However, he has done reasonably well when he has been called upon.

Balogun has scored two goals and registered one assist for Arsenal’s first-team. In the under-23’s, Balogun has scored 17 goals in 41 appearances.

The aforementioned figures highlight that Balogun is a striker with a bright future.

Balogun’s contract expires in the summer of 2021. With that being the case, Balogun would be able to sign for Liverpool as a free agent come the summer.

We hope this happens, as the 19-year-old would be able to train alongside world-class forwards such as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Balogun would naturally improve training alongside elite players. He could be a good player for the Reds in the future as a result.
