Jurgen Klopp has said that it is unlikely the Reds will undergo major surgery in terms of their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Reds have struggled this season with injuries hitting them hard – particularly at centre-back.
Indeed, it’s been a difficult season with the players that arrived not able to really integrate themselves as they normally would and the injury list meaning there’s very rarely been a time where what you’d call the Reds’ strongest line-up has been fielded.
And, with that said, Jurgen Klopp has suggested he wants to see his side back fully fit and see how things can work there instead of making big changes, with it more likely small adjustments will be made.
He revealed ahead of the trip to Sheffield United:
Jurgen Klopp on whether the @LFC squad needs a rebuild:
"I don’t think it is time for a massive rebuild. This squad this year didn’t really get the chance to play together – it would make sense to have a look at that. On top of that, little readjustments will happen." 🔴 pic.twitter.com/Djz6KHJljq

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
It’s certainly going to be an interesting summer for the Reds this year and it remains to be seen if Champions League football is going to be on offer next year to help attract players and boost finances.
Certainly, there seems plenty of calls for work to be done on the squad but fundamentally there is a good side there – it does just need a few extra additions to make it that bit more robust.
