Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that James Milner will not feature against Ajax at Anfield tonight.
Milner sustained a hamstring injury against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, which is why the midfielder won’t feature in the Champions League tonight.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
No time frame has been placed on Milner’s injury. We are just hoping that the hamstring injury that Milner sustained is not too serious.
The aforementioned statistics highlight that Milner has been a pretty good player for the Reds. With that being the case, Milner is a player that we like to see available for selection.
Also, Milner is a very versatile player. Under Klopp, he has played in midfield, full-back and on the wing.
Players who can play a number of different positions are invaluable. Hopefully we see Milner make a quick recovery.
