Former Red John Aldridge has sent Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling a message after the Citizens were banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons.
As reported by BBC Sport, it was found that Manchester City were guilty of Financial Fair Play and UEFA club licensing breaches, which were investigated by UEFA.
That ultimately means the Citizens are banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons.
The club were also fined £25 million, and the decision is subject to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Manchester City could potentially lose a couple of their star players if the result in court does not go their way, which Aldridge was quick to point out on Twitter to Sterling, who departed Liverpool for Manchester back in 2015.
Here you go folks!!fifa have got balls after all.Theyll do well to keep their better players who want to play on the big stage now??Sterling has his excuse already? pic.twitter.com/aC0rbbKEsM

It will be interesting to see what happens with Manchester City. If they are to lose some star players, it will be interesting to see if Liverpool go in for any of them.
Gaining a player such as midfielder Kevin De Bruyne would be handy, but as of right now, that is wishful thinking.
