Social media has been chaos lately in regards to Liverpool and the transfer market.

Many Reds supporters on Twitter have suggested that they are unhappy that Liverpool have only made the one major signing in Kostas Tsimikas this summer.

If you read the thread on Twitter which has been linked, you will see what we are talking about.

A lot of the criticism from some of the supporters has been aimed at the ownership Fenway Sports Group. FSG ultimately run the club and provide Reds boss Jurgen Klopp with the funds to buy players.

We obviously don’t know the ins and outs of what is happening. We don’t sit in the room when Klopp and FSG discuss transfers.

But, it would be nice to see FSG and Klopp secure a signing before the window closes on October 5.

A new signing would certainly give some supporters something to smile about, as that is clearly what they want going by social media.
