Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk is back at Kirkby and it certainly looks as though he is upping his recovery programme now.
The Reds face Everton this evening for the first time since that challenge from Jordan Pickford effectively ended the Dutchman’s season and that will naturally be one of the narratives in the build-up to the derby.
The focus needs to be on Van Dijk’s recovery, however, and it certainly looks as though he is making progress with him back kicking a ball about.
Indeed, he’s looking very good indeed but it is still too early to say whether we’ll see him feature again this season – you cannot rush such an injury.
He posted several snaps on social media to share his latest progress, though, and Reds fans have naturally rushed to react to them.
Let’s see what has been said:

Cmon Virgil! We need you big time. Please don't rush back, get fully fit and healthy and a slot in the ACL club is yours.

Get fit and well soon Virgil and Joe. We need you guys back in boots and super fit as soon as it’s safe for you. That way Juergen can push Jordan and Fabinho up to where they should be and Sadio et al will get behind the parked bus (or buses). You’re not walking alone….
