Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has given his verdict on Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

The Reds have recently been linked with Thiago.

Klopp was recently asked a question about Thiago, and he did provide a response. Klopp stated that Thiago is a “good player”, but he did not confirm that the club are interested in the midfielder.

Klopp’s comments regarding Thiago are certainly interesting. He does not rule out a move for Thiago, which does suggest that perhaps there is some interest in the midfielder.

If Klopp has no interest in Thiago, it would have been easy for him to state that he had no interest in signing the midfielder.

But, then again, he does also state that there are plenty of other good players out there that he does like. Klopp hasn’t really given anything away.

David Ornstein from the Athletic has stated that there is “mutual admiration” between Thiago and Klopp.

That does not mean that a deal will happen, but, Thiago to Liverpool is certainly a story worth keeping an eye on because of the aforementioned reasons.
