Ozan Kabak played in the heart of Liverpool’s defence against Real Madrid at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano last night.
Liverpool lost the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie 3-1 to the La Liga side.
Despite the fact that the Reds shipped three goals, some Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to state that they were impressed with Kabak’s performance on the night.

Only player I thought did well was Kabak. #LFC

Kabak on the other hand has crazy potential to be a top center back. I’d like us to sign him #LFC

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
We don’t agree with the aforementioned responses from the Liverpool supporters.
Kabak finished the match with a WhoScored player rating of 5.84, which highlights that he actually did not play that well.
However, Kabak is only 21 years of age, so we are going to cut him some slack. Liverpool signed Kabak on loan from Schalke during the recent January transfer window.
Since coming to the club, Kabak has performed reasonably well. The centre-back is averaging a WhoScored player rating of 6.75 in the Premier League this season, which backs up the aforementioned argument.
It will be interesting to see if the club look to sign Kabak on a permanent deal come the summer.
