Liverpool man James Milner sent an emotive message yesterday evening after the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Brighton in the Premier League.
The Reds were well on track to edge out the Seagulls down on the south coast on Saturday lunchtime and get an important three points ahead of Chelsea and Tottenham meeting later this weekend.
However, a late penalty would earn Brighton a share of the spoils and the decision to award it is what appears to have once again stoked the fires of the VAR debate.
For many, the foul Andy Robertson was adjudged to have committed was not clear and obvious – with Brighton players suggesting it was soft – and that appears to be where the issue is once again coming from.
James Milner took to social media to offer his view on things yesterday, then, and sent a message that suggested he’s falling out of love with the game as things are at the moment.
Many fans reacted to his words, too, so let’s take a look at some of what has been said:
Good on you for speaking out about it, too often professionals will keep their opinions to themselves through fear of any backlash, ultimately means nothing will change

I’m so glad as a senior premier league player you’re having the guts to stand up to VAR & share the fans frustration at the ruin of the game since VAR.

Milner hasn't just said Liverpool tbf he's basically carrying on what KDB said last week about the game is being changed and not for the good, it's fans with agendas who beat the stick certain teams are immune and fail/refuse to acknowledge stats as agend and bait more important
