RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer has a current market value of €42 million.

However, the Bundesliga club are prepared to sell Sabitzer for just £15 million (€17 million) this summer, according to The Athletic, as cited by Twitter account @Watch_LFC.

RB Leipzig risk losing Sabitzer on a free transfer at the conclusion of the 2021-22 campaign, which is apparently why RB Leipzig are prepared to sell the midfielder for a reduced fee this summer.

Sabitzer’s contract expires in the summer of 2022. Also, the midfielder has reportedly not indicated that he would like to sign a new contract with RB Leipzig.

Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to state that the club should look to sign Sabitzer if he is available for £15 million.

We agree with the aforementioned responses from the Liverpool supporters. We would like to see the club sign Sabitzer this summer, especially if he is available for a reduced fee.

Sabitzer is a solid player. The midfielder scored nine goals and registered seven assists in 39 appearances last season.

Sabitzer also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.86 across the 2020-21 campaign.
