Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho would prefer a move to Liverpool ahead of Manchester United, according to German publication Kicker.

It has been reported that Sancho is a transfer target for Manchester United. Liverpool have also been linked with the 20-year-old.

Kicker has stated that Sancho would prefer a move to Anfield ahead of Old Trafford “because of the greater title chances”.

The report from Kicker states that Borussia Dortmund want 100 million for Sancho. With that being the case, we do not see Liverpool signing the 20-year-old this summer.

It has been reported that Liverpool are facing losses of up to £200 million due to the coronavirus. It has even been reported that Liverpool may sign no one in the upcoming transfer window.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Sancho is an “interesting player”, which does suggest that he would be open to signing the youngster.

However, Klopp also said that he would be surprised if Sancho signed for Liverpool this summer. It does sound like Liverpool don’t have the money to sign the Englishman.
