Former Red Jose Enrique has sent Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe a message on Twitter.

Mbappe recently spoke about how well Liverpool have done this season. The Frenchman described Jurgen Klopp’s side as a “machine”.

After the aforementioned comments were made, Enrique suggested on Twitter that Mbappe should make the move to Anfield.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Mbappe in the past. However, Mbappe’s current market value is close to €200 million.

When one considers the recent update regarding Liverpool’s financial situation, I think it would be fair to say that Liverpool will not be making a move for the Frenchman anytime soon.

However, I love how Enrique has asked Mbappe to “come and join us”. It simply highlights that Enrique valued his time at the club, and he still very much views himself as a Liverpool supporter.

Enrique made 99 appearances for the Reds. He scored two goals and registered 10 assists during his time at the club.

Enrique departed the club in the summer of 2016. He is now retired.
