Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is set to miss the entirety of December after suffering ankle ligament damage during the Champions League clash against Napoli midweek.

The Brazilian was substituted in the first-half at Anfield, but there was optimism it was nothing too serious.

However, further assessment of the injury has shown that it is serious enough that Fabinho will be out until the New Year.

Fabinho has been a key cog for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, so there is no denying that this is a loss.
