Former Red Don Hutchison has stated that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah drives him crazy when he watches him on the football pitch.

Salah, who signed for Liverpool from Roma for a fee of £39 million back in the summer of 2017, has been sensational for the club.

He has turned himself into one of the best forwards in the world, which many did not expect to occur when he first signed with the Anfield club.

The Egyptian scored the sealer during Liverpool’s 2-0 Premier League victory over Manchester United at Anfield on the weekend.

Despite Salah being a terrific player for Liverpool, he does receive some criticism from time to time.

Hutchison, who does rate Salah, has stated that the “little things” regarding the Egyptian’s game drive him mad.

Hutchison said, as quoted by ESPN FC: “He does [drive me crazy] you know. It’s because Mo Salah is so good. His link-up play hasn’t been as good and it’s the little things that drive you crazy.

“When he gets the ball, he has a five or 10-yard pass and he doesn’t complete the pass and you’re thinking this should just be routine. But then he goes and scores the goal and he just looks brilliant.”

Hutchison is somewhat correct. There are times when Salah leaves one feeling frustrated, but the good definitely outweighs the bad.

He has match-winning moments within him, and that itself is a trait many players do not possess.
