Liverpool fans have taken to social media to react to Jurgen Klopp’s recent comments about what impact missing the top four this season could have on the current squad and potential summer acquisitions.

The Reds face a big fight to get themselves out of a current rut and get themselves back into the top four come the end of the season, with the obvious Champions League football on offer that such a finish would provide.

Indeed, there will be a natural concern that falling short will see key players leave the club and make the task harder to attract new signings but Klopp is not too concerned about that prospect.

Speaking in his press conference yesterday afternoon, he played down fears of players leaving and also said he only wants to work with footballers that want to sign for the club regardless of the Champions League in a set of firm comments.
