Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been talking about Liverpool winger Sadio Mane recently.

Aubameyang is clearly an admirer of Mane.

Aubameyang stated that every manager would like Mane in their team. Aubameyang also added that he has great respect for the Senegal international.

As quoted by wiwsport, Aubameyang told Stades: “Sadio is the player of the Africans. He’s also the type of player every manager would like to have in their team. Like all African players in the Premier League, we tease each other, joke before and after each game.

“I have a lot of respect for him, because after what you see on social media and the news, he’s someone who’s done a lot for his native village.”

Aubameyang’s opinion is worth listening to. He has scored 74 goals in 119 appearances for the Gunners.

The aforementioned numbers prove that Aubameyang is a star striker for Arsenal. With that being the case, he knows what he is talking about when it comes to other forwards in the game.

Since Mane signed for Liverpool from Southampton back in 2016, he has scored 86 goals in 181 appearances. The Senegal international has also registered 38 assists for the Reds.

We believe that Aubameyang is correct about every manager wanting Mane in their side, and that is simply because the Senegal winger has end product in his game.

We love that Aubameyang touched on Mane’s work in his native village in Senegal. In 2018, Mane donated 300 Liverpool shirts to the village.

That is just one example of what Mane has done for his native village since becoming a professional footballer.

The aforementioned statistics highlight that Liverpool possess a very good footballer in Mane, but the club also possess a very good person.
